GEGEGE NO KITARO BEGINS “SECOND YEAR” WITH 50TH EPISODE
As it approaches the end of its one year run since premiering on April 1st of 2018, the new remake of GeGeGe no Kitaro is set to begin its “second year” with the 50th episode of the series.
Episode 50 will air on April 7, 2019, erupting with a new chapter and story arc featuring the “Four Generals of Hell” and a new character named Rei Isurugi, a mysterious human high school student who seems to have a hatred against the yokai and who is chasing after Kitaro.
The 50th episode will also kick-off the new ending theme song for the series, “RONDO” by the Japanese rock band, BUCK-TICK. The airing of GeGeGe no Kitaro on April 7 will be the first time that this song will be heard.
The new chapter of GeGeGe no Kitaro will continue to be broadcasted on Fuji TV in Japan and can also be watched through the streaming service, Crunchyroll every Saturday.
