EXCITING “ONE PIECE” CONTENT COMING TO THE FIRST EVER VIRTUAL CRUNCHYROLL EXPO

Right around the corner is the 4^th Annual Crunchyroll Expo and fans in 2020 will see the event in virtual form for the first time ever. Fans will be welcomed to attend Virtual Crunchyroll Expo for free via the main website on September 4-6, 2020 to celebrate and explore the world of anime and Japanese pop culture. Unique events and experiences abound!

Countless fans will be able to explore the new Crunchy City by clicking through districts such as the Anime Arts District, Crunchyroll Theater District, Central Shopping District, and Super Arcade Featuring Club Yuzu. All of V-CRX’s panels, events, screenings and content will be divided among four stages: Crunchyroll, Hime, Sudachi, and Yuzu.

Joining VCRX with amazing content is Toei Animation as it presents the movie premiere of 2008’s “One Piece: Episode of Chopper: The Miracle Winter Cherry Blossom”, which has never been released officially in North America, in Japanese with English subtitles and a special Japanese Voice Actor Showcase featuring interviews with members of the main voice cast of “One Piece” including Mayumi Tanaka (voice of Luffy), Kazuya Nakai (voice of Zoro), Ikue Ōtani (voice of Chopper), and Hiroaki Hirata (voice of Sanji)! This special block of exciting content will be from 10:00am-1:00pm PT on Friday, September 4^th in the Sudachi Stage. Within this block will also be a special giveaway, so be on the lookout! Attendees who miss the special One Piece Voice Actor Showcase will get another chance to watch it when it goes to “V-CRX On Demand”, available 24/7 over Labor Day weekend until Monday, September 7^th at 10:00am PT.
